My Point Of View is Herbie Hancock's second album as leader, recorded at Van Gelder Studio in March 1963 and originally released on Blue Note. This 1999 EU remaster runs 24-bit transfers from the original analog tapes and adds an alternate take of "Blind Man, Blind Man" not on the original LP. Produced by Alfred Lion, the session features hard bop and modal playing from a pre-Head Hunters Hancock.
