Product Review:
Super copy! Visual grading only.

Herbie Hancock's debut album, recorded at Van Gelder Studio in May 1962 and originally released on Blue Note. Produced by Alfred Lion, it introduced "Watermelon Man" -- later covered by Mongo Santamaría. This 1996 European reissue, remastered with Michael Cuscuna as reissue producer, adds alternate takes of three tracks including two versions of "Watermelon Man". Pressed in Italy.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
