Hi-Tension were a London-based funk and disco outfit who released "British Hustle" on Island Records in 1978. Produced by Kofi Ayivor and engineered by Alex Sadkin under Chris Blackwell's executive production, this original UK 12" became one of the defining British funk singles of its era, reaching number 13 in the UK charts. The B-side "Peace On Earth" adds a smoother counterpoint.
