Hijack were a South London crew -- MC Navigator, Agent X, and DJ Supreme -- among the earliest UK acts to put Britcore on wax. "Style Wars" appeared on Music Of Life in 1988, produced by Simon Harris. The 12" runs four versions: vocal, instrumental, bonus beats, and scratchapella -- standard format for the era and useful for DJs. One of the foundational UK hip-hop releases of the late 1980s.
