Live at the Olympia Theatre, Paris on 6 October 1962, this previously unreleased concert recording appeared on Norman Granz's Pablo Records in 2002. Silver leads his quintet through extended readings of his own compositions -- "Filthy McNasty", "The Tokyo Blues", and "Doin' The Thing" -- with sets running well past ten minutes each. A rare chance to hear Silver's hard bop in a full live context from his Blue Note peak years.
