Howlin' Wolf's 1951--52 Sun Records sessions captured Chester Burnett mid-transition, before his move to Chess defined his later sound. This 2004 Snapper Music compilation on the Complete Blues label draws 20 mono recordings from that Memphis period, including "How Many More Years" and alternate takes. Licensed via Sun Entertainment Corporation. UK-made digipak.
