Poor Boy collects twelve Chess sides from Howlin' Wolf, released in the UK in 1966 on the Saga-distributed Chess imprint (CRL 4508) as a mono LP. Killing Floor, later covered by Jimi Hendrix, and Three Hundred Pounds Of Joy are among the standouts. A straight Chicago blues set recorded mid-decade with Wolf's regular band, including guitarist Hubert Sumlin.
