The Back Door Wolf was Howlin' Wolf's final studio album, recorded in Chicago in 1973 and produced by Ralph Bass for Chess Records. Released the same year Wolf died, it features sharp political commentary on "Watergate Blues." This French Chess reissue dates from 1981.
