Ike Quebec recorded It Might As Well Be Spring for Blue Note in 1959, produced by Alfred Lion, released posthumously after Quebec's death in 1963. A ballad-focused set showcasing his warm tenor saxophone tone across standards including Lover Man and Ol' Man River. This is a 2006 European CD reissue remastered under Michael Cuscuna's supervision for Blue Note's ongoing archival programme.
