Product Review:
UK Original Phonodisc press. 2xLP. Super copy!

Soundtrack to Gordon Parks' 1971 blaxploitation film, released on Stax as a UK Phonodisc pressing. Hayes wrote, arranged, and produced all 15 tracks, with J.J. Johnson and Johnny Allen handling additional horn and string arrangements. "Theme From Shaft" won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The 19-minute "Do Your Thing" is the centrepiece of side D.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
