Joseph Benjamin Hutto was a Chicago slide guitarist who recorded prolifically from the 1950s through the 1980s. This Wolf Records CD compiles studio sessions from Viscount Recording Studios, Rhode Island (February 1980) and a live set recorded at Vegetable Buddies, Indiana (July 1979). Covers include Elmore James's "The Sky Is Crying" and a version of "Summertime." Four additional live tracks appear exclusively on this CD edition.
