Jackie McLean's *It's Time!* was recorded in August 1964 and originally released on Blue Note (BST 84179). This is a 1978 Japanese pressing on GXK 8085, featuring six McLean originals including the modal workout "Revillot" and the hard bop drive of "Cancellation." The date features Roy Haynes on drums and Cecil McBee on bass, with McLean's alto in characteristically sharp form.
