"I Get The Sweetest Feeling" was originally recorded by Jackie Wilson in 1968, produced by Carl Davis for Brunswick Records. This UK 7" pressing came out on MCA in 1972, manufactured by Decca, pairing the Northern Soul floor favourite with "Soul Galore" from 1966. The A-side became one of Wilson's most enduring tracks, later covered by Van Morrison among others.
