Early electro-funk 12" from Jamaica Girls, released on Becket Records in 1982 -- a small US indie distributed through I&M Teleproducts. Produced and arranged by Bert Reid, "Rock The Beat" runs nearly six minutes on the A-side with a full instrumental on the flip. This promo copy predates the commercial release. Co-written with Ron Dean Miller under Fools Prayer Music and Amber Pass Music.
