From a beautifully preserved collection. Writing on sleeve. Sticker on sleeve. Edgewear. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Jimmie Lunceford led one of the premier swing-era big bands of the 1930s and 40s, known for tight arrangements and a two-beat rhythmic feel developed with arranger Sy Oliver. This is a 1959 German Brunswick EP repress of original Decca recordings, collecting three tracks including the Harold Arlen standard "Blues In The Night" and the band's signature theme "Rhythm Is Our Business."
