Jimmie Noone led one of Chicago's finest small groups of the late 1920s, the Apex Club Orchestra, recording for Brunswick with Earl Hines on piano. This Australian Swaggie EP licenses those original Brunswick sides via Coral Records and Festival, featuring "Sweet Lorraine" -- a tune Noone helped popularise before Nat King Cole made it his own -- alongside "It's Tight Like That" and "My Daddy Rocks Me."
