Gospel Time is Jimmy McGriff's second album, recorded in 1963 and released on Sue Records. This is the rare UK pressing on Island's Sue imprint (ILP 908), with US labels intact. McGriff's Hammond B-3 leads throughout, covering Ray Charles' "Drown In My Own Tears" and the standard "Moonlight In Vermont" alongside originals. Produced by Joe Lederman.
