Jimmy Reed's Chicago blues recordings for Vee-Jay, compiled here on the 1964 UK Stateside pressing SL 10091 in mono. Reed's stripped-back guitar and harmonica style influenced a generation of British R&B acts. "I Ain't Got You" -- later covered by the Yardbirds -- appears here, alongside "Too Much" and "Going By The River."
