Jimmy Reed was a Mississippi-born blues guitarist whose Vee-Jay recordings from the 1950s and 60s crossed over to mainstream pop charts and influenced a generation of British Invasion acts. This 2004 UK compilation on Complete Blues pulls 20 tracks from that Vee-Jay era, including "Big Boss Man", "Bright Lights Big City", and "Baby What You Want Me To Do" -- all three covered by The Rolling Stones.
