Recorded on 25 April 1960 and produced by Alfred Lion, Back At The Chicken Shack captures Jimmy Smith's Hammond B-3 organ trio at Blue Note alongside Kenny Burrell and Art Blakey. This CD reissue, produced by Michael Cuscuna, was transferred directly from the one-step analogue master tape. It includes "On The Sunny Side Of The Street", a bonus track not on the original LP, first issued on Blue Note LT-1092 in 1981.
