Jimmy Smith's 1968 Verve outing, arranged and conducted by Oliver Nelson, finds the organ master running through a set of pop and film themes alongside originals. Highlights include a swinging take on the Mission: Impossible theme, Big Boss Man, and Valley of the Dolls. Original US pressing on Verve V6-8750, recorded at United Recording Studios, Hollywood, May 1968.
