The Sermon! is a 1958 Blue Note album by organist Jimmy Smith, featuring an extended 20-minute title track recorded live at Van Gelder Studio with Lou Donaldson, Lee Morgan, and Art Blakey. This US jukebox 7" on Blue Note L 4011 splits the track across two sides at 33⅓ RPM, pressed for jukebox operators. A genuinely unusual format for a genuinely celebrated session.
