My Favorite Things is John Coltrane's 1961 album for Atlantic, recorded across three October 1960 sessions in New York and produced by Nesuhi Ertegun. The title track -- a 13-minute modal reinvention of the Rodgers and Hammerstein standard -- introduced Coltrane's soprano sax to wide audiences. This is a remastered CD reissue, manufactured in Germany, catalogue Atlantic 781 346-2.
