Soultrane is a 1958 Prestige session by John Coltrane, recorded in a single day with Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor. This 2006 remastered reissue on Prestige/Universal was produced by Bob Porter and Nick Phillips. Highlights include a 12-minute read of Tadd Dameron's "Good Bait" and Billy Eckstine's ballad "I Want To Talk About You," which Coltrane returned to repeatedly throughout his career.
