John Graas was an American French horn player who recorded for Decca in the early 1950s, bringing the instrument into cool jazz small group settings. This Swedish EP pressing -- catalogue REP 1003, printed by AB Nottryck Lito, Stockholm, 1954 -- collects four tracks led by his septet. Graas was a key figure in West Coast jazz and worked closely with arrangers in the Capitol cool school.
