John Holt's tenure at Trojan Records in the early 1970s produced some of the most enduring rocksteady-to-reggae vocal work of the era. This 1997 Music Club CD compiles 20 tracks from 1970--1976, including "The Tide Is High" -- later covered by Blondie -- alongside "Wear You To The Ball", "Stick By Me", and "Pledging My Love". A solid single-disc overview of his peak period output.
