Product Review:
UK Original in nice condition - light surface marks but plays well. 2cm tear along opening edge of sleeve. Light creasing. From the record collection of the late, great Maxi Jazz.

Simply The Truth was recorded in 1968 and released on ABC in the US, with this UK edition appearing on Stateside (SL 10280) in 1969 -- a mono pressing. Produced by Bill Szymczyk, it features Hooker addressing Vietnam and social change directly, particularly on the opening "I Don't Wanna Go To Vietnam." One Room Country Shack anchors the B-side with raw Delta feeling.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
