Product Review:
Advance Test Pressing - hand written Ember labels from 1964. EX/EX.

John Lee Hooker's *Sings Blues* collects recordings cut in 1948/49 in Detroit, in the back room of a record shop. Contracted to Modern at the time, Hooker recorded this session for King Records under the alias Texas Slim. The 1964 UK Ember pressing presents these early sides -- raw Delta-rooted blues including "I'm Gonna Kill That Woman" and "Wandering Blues" -- in stereomonic enhanced mono.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
