Gears is a 1975 jazz-funk album by organist Johnny Hammond, produced by Larry and Fonce Mizell at Fantasy Studios, Berkeley. This is a 1987 European Milestone reissue. The Mizell Brothers' production connects it to their work with Donald Byrd and Bobbi Humphrey, featuring drummer Harvey Mason and vibraphonist Roger Glenn across six cuts of groove-driven fusion.
