From a beautifully preserved collection. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Johnny Hodges leads his small group through two swing-era standards on this UK Columbia EP. "Perdido" was written by Juan Tizol and became a Duke Ellington Orchestra staple, with Hodges as Ellington's long-serving alto saxophonist. "Rose Room" dates to 1917. Catalogue number SEB 10058 places this in Columbia's mid-1950s UK EP series.
