The Taxi label — Winston 'Niney' Holness and Lloyd 'Crucial Bunny' Campbell's operation — was one of the defining imprints of early eighties dancehall, and Johnny Osbourne was one of its most consistent voices. Osbourne had roots in rocksteady but adapted to the digital age without losing his melodic instincts, which is exactly what you hear here. A Taxi 7" in this kind of shape is the format these rhythms were built for — loud, direct, no fuss. Johnny Osbourne - Don't You Know I Love You is dancehall done with genuine craft.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
