Jonathan Butler's fourth studio album, released in 1990 on Jive Records (HIP 102). The South African-born guitarist and vocalist recorded Heal Our Land with producers Loris Holland and Wayne Brathwaite, delivering a set of smooth soul and jazz-inflected R&B. The title track opens and closes the album, and "Good Life" stands out among the mid-tempo cuts.
