Josh White was a pioneering blues and folk guitarist whose recordings bridged Black American vernacular music and mainstream audiences from the 1930s onward. This German Electrola EP pressing features "Dupree Blues," "Frankie And Johnny," and "Cotton-Eyed Joe" -- three traditional American songs in White's distinctive fingerpicked style. Electrola was EMI's German imprint.
