Junior Wells recorded for Vanguard between 1966 and 1968, backed regularly by Buddy Guy. This 1998 European compilation draws from those sessions, covering Sonny Boy Williamson's "Help Me", Elmore James's "It Hurts Me Too", and Bobby Rush's "Messin' With The Kid", alongside originals like "Vietcong Blues". Eighteen tracks of Chicago electric blues from one of the era's most distinctive harmonica players.
