Product Review:
ECM Records 2CD. One of the great live jazz recordings Jarrett at Carnegie Hall in 2005, solo piano at its most luminous. Widely sought.
Recorded live at Carnegie Hall's Isaac Stern Auditorium on 26 September 2005, this two-disc set captures Jarrett in solo improvisation. Released on ECM in 2006, it includes two standards alongside original pieces -- notably a reading of "My Song" and "Time On My Hands". Produced by Keith Jarrett and Manfred Eicher, it's a raw recording of one night's performance, unedited between pieces.
