Product Review:
Superb copy. The DMM audiophile pressings stand up well against the originals.

Midnight Blue was recorded in January 1963 and released on Blue Note (BST-84123), featuring guitarist Kenny Burrell alongside Ray Barretto on congas. This 1985 French reissue is part of the Cadre Rouge Audiophile series, pressed at Pathé Marconi in Chatou using Direct Metal Mastering. The set opens with "Chittlins Con Carne," a shuffling blues-inflected groove that became one of Burrell's most recognised recordings.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
