Angel Song, recorded at Power Station, New York in February 1996 and released on ECM in 1997, brings together trumpeter Kenny Wheeler, alto saxophonist Lee Konitz, bassist Dave Holland, and guitarist Bill Frisell. Wheeler composed all nine tracks, including the 12-minute "Present Past" and its mirror piece "Past Present." Produced by Manfred Eicher. Original German pressing on ECM 1607.
