Recorded live at Small's Paradise on Harlem's Seventh Avenue in 1966, this UK Atlantic pressing (K 30029) captures King Curtis leading his band through a mix of originals and covers including Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In The Wind" and a Peter Gunn medley. Released posthumously in 1973, two years after Curtis was killed, it's a straight-ahead soul-funk live set from one of the great session saxophonists.
