L.A. Bound is the debut album by Cuban-born percussionist King Errisson, released in 1977 on Westbound Records. Produced and arranged by Errisson alongside Dennis Coffey and Mike Theodore -- the Detroit team behind many Westbound sessions -- it was recorded in Dearborn and mixed at Sigma Sound in Philadelphia. Five long-form tracks blend funk and disco, with "Disco Congo" and "Manhattan Love Song" running over eight and ten minutes respectively.
