Koop is a Swedish duo -- Oscar Simonsson and Magnus Zingmark -- who debuted with this 1998 EP on London's Colombe D'Or. This promo sampler pairs two original cuts with remixes: Jazzanova rework Absolute Space, and Cari Lekebusch reconstructs Glömd. The originals blend jazz samples with downtempo electronics, pointing toward the sound Koop developed on later albums.
