Lacksley Castell's debut release, African Queen came out in 1980 on Negus Roots -- catalogue number NERT 001, the label's first release. The A-side is a roots lovers rock track with a dub version on the flip. Castell went on to record for Channel One and other key reggae imprints, making this early UK 12" a notable starting point in his discography.
