Power is the ninth studio album by Lakeside, released in 1987 on Solar Records. Produced by guitarist Stephen Shockley, it reflects the Minneapolis-influenced funk sound that dominated mid-to-late 80s R&B. Recorded at Galaxy Sound Studios in Hollywood and mastered at Capitol Records, the album features the uptempo title track alongside smoother cuts like "To Be Your Lover" and "Still Feeling Good."
