Black Bach is the second solo album by Lamont Dozier, released in 1974 on ABC Records -- this is the UK pressing (ABCL 5096). Recorded at ABC Recording Studios in Los Angeles, it features Dozier handling production and songwriting duties himself, post-Motown. Standout cuts include "Let Me Start Tonight" and "I Wanna Be With You", both drawn on heavily by later producers and DJs working in soul and boogie.
