Product Review:
Superb NM/EX condition. From a beautifully preserved collection.

The Saga of Leadbelly is a 1958 UK compilation on Melodisc, drawing from recordings made during Leadbelly's Library of Congress sessions and later commercial work. An original UK mono pressing, it captures his raw 12-string guitar style across country blues standards including "Grey Goose", "Alberta", and "In The Evening When The Sun Goes Down". A strong cross-section of his catalogue on a UK indie imprint.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
