Taru is a hard bop session led by trumpeter Lee Morgan, recorded at Van Gelder Studio in February 1968 and originally issued in 1980 as Blue Note LT-1031. This 2000 European CD reissue, produced by Michael Cuscuna, applies SBM Super Bit Mapping remastering to the original tapes. Duke Pearson co-produced the session. Six tracks, including the title cut "Taru, What's Wrong With You?"
