Tom Cat is a hard bop album by trumpeter Lee Morgan, recorded at Van Gelder Studio in August 1964 and originally shelved until its first release on Blue Note LT-1058. This 1990 CD reissue (CDP 7 84446 2) was produced for release by Michael Cuscuna. The session features Morgan alongside Jackie McLean on alto sax. The title track runs nearly ten minutes, with Rigormortis and Exotique among the standout cuts.
