Product Review:
ECM Records CD. Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy apply the most irreverent wit to pop and jazz standards. Joyous and utterly unique.

Recorded in Brooklyn in February 1985, this ECM release finds Lester Bowie leading a ten-piece brass ensemble through extended reimaginings of pop and soul standards. The title track stretches the Al Dubin and Harry Warren ballad to over ten minutes, while Aretha Franklin's "Think" gets a 90-second blast. Produced by Bowie and Manfred Eicher, the original 1985 West German pressing on ECM 1296.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
