The Big Throwdown is the third studio album by Levert -- the Ohio-born trio of Gerald, Sean, and Eddie Levert Jr. -- released in 1987 on Atlantic. It contains "Casanova", their biggest hit, which reached number one on the Billboard R&B chart. Produced across sessions in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Cleveland, with Gerald Levert and Marc Gordon handling production alongside Reggie and Vincent Calloway.
