Lightnin' Hopkins recorded these sessions for Prestige/Bluesville in 1961, captured by producers Kenneth Goldstein and Mack McCormick at a peak moment of his rediscovery by folk and blues audiences. This 1990 Ace CD compiles two full LPs onto one disc, running 75 minutes. Highlights include "Catfish Blues", "Worried Life Blues", and the celebratory "Happy Blues For John Glenn".
