Product Review:
Lovely recording on the Arhoolie label. Writing on label.

Lightnin' Sam Hopkins is a self-titled LP by Texas blues guitarist Lightnin' Hopkins, recorded in Berkeley and Houston across late 1961 and early 1962 for Chris Strachwitz's Arhoolie Records -- one of the first labels to document Hopkins outside the major commercial system. This reissue of F 1011 collects nine originals including "Speedin' Boogie" and "Bald Headed Woman", all written by Hopkins himself.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
